Another good one today 1:36hrs. Pretty cold out but I was prepare :). Haven't put on my hoody in over two weeks this morning I put it on. Thank you all your encouragement. What can I say? I think I'm just nervous about this training plan. Not sure what will make me run any differently than I have been. Take away this month , other than packing in the miles my training runs have been for the most part life less. For the last 2years my training run times have gotten slower and slower. I'm surprise that I get the times I do when I race!!. So I'm exposing myself, that's my biggest fear.

Dawn, you can do this! Glad you got out there again today -- it's nice to enjoy the junk miles while they last.

It seems like you put in the miles for the most part, but perhaps it is time to add in other key elements like tempo, hills, speed, etc. into the mix in order to get you that BQ. I like using races as a substitute for tempo runs. You kill two birds with one stone this way and it is much easier to run fast with others than it is by yourself.

Dawn ... You'll be doing more than putting in the miles. You'll be kicking it up a few notches on tempo runs and speed workouts. In addition, you'll be doing back to back combinations you've never attempted before. You'll have a great time and you will get faster.
