Making an Effort


I'm really going to make an effort to be good this week. I think I might even rest on Wednesday and do only five miles on Thursday and then rest again on Friday. I'm really going to follow Phils' advice. I can resume my marathon training plan on Sunday or just add the extra miles after the Half to get a long one in and rest on Sunday. . Today I took it very easy and did a recovery run.

Hi Dawn ... so you don't go through complete exercise withdrawls, consider doing some cross-training on your rest day: bike riding or swimming would work nicely. You can also run a couple or mile repeats (as in two) on Wednesday, or 3x800m on Wednesday.
