No Track Tonight

Today I did my nine miles on the schedule. I'm glad I took a second look today because my easy pace went from 10:24 to 10:15 and I'm glad I felt strong enough to go slightly under ten average. I did not make it to track tonight. Elliott's team scrimmaged against Hillhouse a team from New Have. I just needed to get an Idea of how Elliotts season will be going. Well, lets just say I'm going to miss JV games. Because we got to see him play the most. Anyway I'm trying my best to keep things positive for Elliott. I will be talking to the coach though after today's scrimmage I do need some answers.

Nice job getting your easy pace down a bit ... and over 9 miles! That's not an easy distance to keep up any pace.

Hope all is well as you finish up your week. I've been out of touch the last few days and haven't had a chance to keep up with your blog. I'll read the rest of your posts once I get home this weekend.

Cheers

Glad to see that your running is going along. Sorry I wasn't able to connect up whilst in RI, but in truth, very little running was done on my trip, but I did have lunch in Mystic one day, and we were out on a boat calling into Stonington Harbour, and Skippers Dock, so I was in CT a little :).

Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things, running, and blogging.
