Reflector Vest ON

I had to bring it out of the closet this morning. Although my intentions was to get out by 5:00(boys back in school) I got out at 5:30 and it was dark and since I did not want to be chicken soup I put it on. The vest was new. I can't even remember when I got it. I like it a lot because there is a nice zippered pocket across the front. I had another good run this morning, a tad bit nippy, but I'm not complaining. On my schedule for today was 8 miles with 4X1600 at 8:15 pace. I did this work out around my block again. I did not managed the 8:15 pace. I managed 8:40's to 8:45's. I'm glad I ran faster today. Plus I did not sleep very well last night. Man by the end of my plan I should get this tempo/speed work outs in check. One day I'll hit it just right. There is hope, I pray :).

Wow - great run anyway, Dawn.

School starts for us next week - the wife is counting the minutes...

That workout is aspirational for me. But the reflector vest! It's been so cloudy here you practically need it to run midday.

Good job on the run - good quick pace. Glad you found a vest that you like. It can be hard to find something that is functional and fits well. Save the chicken soup for the stove! :)

Congrates on the 8:40 pace for you 1600m repeats. Not as fast you wanted, but it appears that you were able to maintain a nice steady pace.

Isn't the cooler weather nice!

Have a great weekend.
