Another Perfect Day

Mondays' should be my cross training days, but with weather like this I just can't picture myself indoors at the gym. My cross train is a recovery run from my long run on Sunday.(I haven't been to the gym in awhile so now worry is setting in again about muscle tone) What another great day, will it stay thru labor day?. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. I have that NYC half on the 27th, and if the weather remains like this I'll be in heaven. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Today's run was nice and easy and I felt strong and rested and I almost sang out loud a few times but I refrained, I've been told many times not to quit my job :). I'm only able to get away with it in the shower and sometimes at church. Although singing on the run is not totally crazy who is up listening for singing runners that early in the morning anyway :)

Some days are just too nice to stay inside. Must have been a great day for an easy 6 miles. You give me hope that this summer will eventually end and cooler weather will return. Thanks

I found my way over from Phil's blog. I'm running the NYC Half as well.
They have misting stations! Misting stations! Why does that excite me so much? I'll be running through them even if it's 50* outside.

I hope the weather holds. It's been lovely since that heat wave broke.
