No time for excuses
I did another hot and humid race this morning. After I finish, I headed for the water, there were people already in the water which made it more tempting than ever. I can't believe it but for the first time in as many times as I've been here, I took a dip. I took my shoe and sock off and went in for about 5 minutes. Wow what a wonderful way to cool my body down. I believe it was just as hot and humid last year but I added 2 minutes to my time this year. I could give a lot of excuses but I am choosing not at this time. Monday I will start back on my training schedule for NYC. I believe I will have to do what is best for me. I have been toying with the idea of doing most of my training runs on the treadmill. I am going to start and see how it goes.

I think that the dip was the best solution. Don't worry for the 2 minutes more, difficult to run in such conditions.
The "dreadmill"???
