I'm thankful my week is off to a good start. On Monday I did just over five miles, slow but it went well. Should have been a rest day but I used it as a recovery/rest day. Today I did just over 7 miles, the run went well, I think its the cooler temps the last few mornings. Tonight I managed to make it to XC, we had the Women's short cut. We run 2.4 miles and the men just a bit longer. I followed the green arrows as instructed, these were our short cuts. I finished with 2.45 pretty close to the course. I started in the back, so allot of women were way ahead of me, thank goodness I saw Emmy before the race, I didn't even catch a glimpse of her during :) . I struggled a bit on the on the second mile and .44 was even worst. I got it done, it felt like hard work tonight, should have been easier...life goes on.

The shorter races are always the tough ones for me. The nice thing is they are over much quicker. Hope you had a good rest of the week and are starting this week out good.
