May we continue to have the life we have because of what they gave, because of what they were willing to give. I am glad that I was able and willing to give as well.the week went by so quickly. I went back to the group on Wednesday and was welcome back. Felt great being back. Did not stay for the full workout because of a prior commitment. I'm hoping that next week will go better.
I've been in a racing frenzy, on the 15th I did the RFR 5k corporate challenge. Then Sunday I did Accelerate your life 5k.This weekend I've done Weston Memorial day PTA 5k and today I did the Bridgeport Hospital home run 5k. Monday I will do the Jim Fixx memorial day 5 miler
Runner's Roost was asking for donations of race tee shirts. Yes, I cleaned out my trunk, now I could buy linens. I donated almost 300 tee shirts. I got help bringing them out of the car, someone ask did you run all these race? I was happy to say "yes I did" When got back home would you believe there were tee shirts I had forgotten!!!
Remember our veterans.

Dawn ---that is wonderful that you donated 300 T-shirts to the Runner's roost drive. I sometimes donate my to the cleaning people at the animal shelter --I should do more of that.
In any case, hope you enjoyed all 3 of your memorial day races! I got home too late last night from Maine to get up for the Jim Fixx!

An interesting news item that underscored it... In China, the hardest hit areas by the earthquakes, families may request permission to have a second child if their first is dead or disfigured from the earthquake. Wow, can't even wrap my mind around that.

I'm trying to imagine all the space available after 300 shirts are gone. (I think I probably have only about 200 .. or... Well, not sure.)
