Been Busy

Really busy this past week, with two graduation and all. Kelly had his 8th grade promotion on Thursday. He will be a freshman in high school come fall. Saturday I ran a 3 miler the first race in the Norwalk summer series. I left the race immediately and headed for the airport, to pickup my two sisters coming in for Elliott's' graduation on Monday. Elliott will attend Westfield in the fall. We go to freshman orientation on Monday and Tuesday. I was in the middle of paying bills and decided I should do a quick post. I do have the Fairfield Half on Sunday really not sure how I'll do. Next month I have to get on track and start training for my fall marathons!!

Thank you all for your comments about NYC marathon!! I wish I had the time and energy to look for the 2004 entry but I don't right now, at least I'm sure I'm in next year!!! because I have an email that says, "sorry we could not confirm your application for 2004. We have records for 2005 & 2006" believe me when I say I will hold on to that email until next years lottery!!!

Hope everyone have a great running week!!

Take it as it comes, Dawn. Good luck with the half. Yes, need to train for fall marathons. I'm on that bandwagon as well.

Congratulations on another graduation!
Good luck with the half, although I don't think you'll have a problem.

Great news on you son's choice of colleges. It is always an exciting time when you first child goes off to college. Looks like a great place.

Bummer about the NYC marathon ... but I still think you need to pick a late fall marathon and set up your training to hit a BQ. With all this nice weather, I know you can do it.
