Yes I'm mentioning the weather again, 16F and it felt like 10F. But I got through it I had to take my glasses off this morning, they kept fogging up. Then my eyes was watering thru my whole run!!! from the cold.I haven't been posting my time or mileage much lately because this is my month to relax but still put in the miles. I will start again in January.
I almost made it back to track tonight. I was really ready to make a comeback, and see some old friends again, my running cloths was in the car so I could change from work. But it just didn't happen. And I did not put in any extra time tonight at the Gym. On my way home I visited Mom and had some home made soup. Just what I needed to warm up.
My joy and happiness picture is dedicated to my son Elliott whom I'm very proud of he received two offers today from two of his back-up colleges (colleges he was sure to get into) Southern and Western Connecticut state colleges. We are just waiting for two major ones one our list. Then we will make a decision.

It's nice to forget about the miles and the speed every once in awhile. For me, when the watch comes out it means I am serious. I normally do not wear a watch.
Burrrrrrrrrrrr DawnB...
I am a FLORIDA WIMP about the COLD...I am going up to NJ for the HOLIDAYS and not looking forward to my runs up there BUT when I was in NJ I use to RUN the Boardwalk and after a while U get use to it... I Just rather RUN in HEAT!!

Great news for your son. I hope you will get good news about the other colleges he applied to. I so many great memories from college...well a few memories...honestly, I do remember some of it...well bits and pieces...I have a degree so I figure I must have gone...
Congratulations to Elliott. I know this is a tough time for seniors.
Keep warm and have a relaxing month. You'll be busy come January.
Wow - go Elliott! It seems he has a new offer every time I read your blog - that is so awesome!! This really puts him in the driver's seat to choose what he wants. Keep us posted on him - this is great!
Burrrrr - how do you do it?! We had a cold front come through today - will get down to 19 today and I'm kind of glad I can't run tomorrow so I don't have to even think about it. 19... man, you'd probably be sweating!
Good job on your runs. Home made soup - yum!
More good news for your boy!
Run some junk miles this month -- you certainly deserve it.
