Now isn't This Special :)

This was in my mail box today:

On behalf of New York Road Runners and the City of New York, congratulations on finishing the inaugural NYC Half-Marathon Presented by NIKE!

You made history as one of 10,294 finishers of the first-ever half-marathon run from Central Park, through the heart of Manhattan, to the spectacular finish in Battery Park.
Your official time is 2:12:30, and your overall place is 6507. You will be mailed your official finisher certificate in September.
At the head of the field, Thomas Nyariki and Catherine Ndereba, both of Kenya, won the men’s and women’s races, both in thrilling fashion. For complete race coverage and photos, see http://www.nyrr.org/nychalf.
brightroom, the official race photographer of the NYC Half-Marathon Presented by NIKE, photographed participants along the course. You will receive a separate e-mail from brightroom explaining how to view, share, and purchase your photos.
We hope you will race with New York Road Runners again soon. Please see our current race calendar at http://www.nyrr.org/race/2006/calendar/august.php.
Most important, plan to come back for the second annual NYC Half-Marathon Presented by NIKE in 2007.
Again, congratulations and thank you for helping us make history on the streets of New York City.
In awe of you,
Mary Wittenberg
