I went out yesterday, not this morning, this is how its been for me lately, it is hard to let go. I am fighting to hold on, every day is a struggle. I didn't run a spring marathon, by this time each year I would have done about 3. There is still hope for the fall. I can't give up....I must continue the journey, Life on the Run continues, the good, the bad and the ugly.

give up,Dawn? you? not an option. doing a marathon is optional. I didn't do one either but you know what? as long as we run we can always choose what we want to do next
The 1st step is the hardest. Just get out the door and things will sort out for themselves. I'm rooting for you!
As the song says: please don't give up. I like the Gregorian version.
I would like to read your posts full of good news about running and life.
All the best Dawn.
Hey Dawn! I hope you're feeling better. You'll get your mojo back soon. It comes and goes with all of us.
We all hit our slumps. Anticipation (or fear of failure) is the hardest part. Once you put foot to pavement, your body will know what to do.
You'll be back at it soon if you're not at it already!
I needed a break and went for a bike ride. Plan on a fall race, do some cross training this summer to mix it up (Bike, swim, weight training...), and don't think about running for a couple of weeks. The hunger will return!
Best wishes and happy running.
