Monday I was so lazy , I came home and did nothing. I did put on my running cloths but I decided to rest for 30mins. 30 minutes turned into all night. So what is this telling me? I needed the rest. This morning I wanted to do the same thing, I had to drag myself out the door. I'm getting up earlier these days but I'm not getting out the door any sooner, but today I shock myself by getting out the door before 5:45 I was out of the bed by 5:05, need I say more. I did come home cook dinner and managed to get out the door for another run. When the day is gorgeous and I have the opportunity I grab it.

knock, knock...just dropping by to visit your blog home and I'm glad I did! This was a great post and I've learned with age that our body will tell us exactly what it needs - even rest!
Gotta run...no pun intended...well, maybe a little (lol).

It’s hard to tell if it’s our bodies telling us it needs a break, which is good, or just a lapse in motivation. Usually when I get foot on ground, and a warm-up mile behind me, I’m glad I made it out and feel better then if I stayed inside with the guilt of not running when I should have.

I am still here!  Ended 2021 strong.  Felt good and was back in the best shape I've been in a while . Went back to the office June of ...
