I'm not purposely trying not to blog, its just that when things don't seem to going the way they should who wants to blog about the same boring stuff. I would rather post a quick note to someone that's having a better day than me. My training just ain't cutting it. I did not want to go to NYC a total looser. I wanted to put some effort into my training just to have a better than usual marathon after all I've waited 4 long years for this. This is exactly what I did not want to do.

Hope everyone one is having a great week.

Hang in there. Sometimes we just need to step back for a while, and re-evaluate where we are.
As to your comments on my page, you expressed an opinion. I have no problem with that, and always enjoy reading your take on things.

I recently read a quote on an add, it said something like there are days when I don't know if I can do this marathon, and there is the rest of my life to remember the ones I have.
What you are feeling is normal, we all have those days and even weeks. It all comes together in the end, keep training, follow your plan and on race day, stand on the start line with the knowledge that you did your homework. It will be good.

You still have time, hang in there. As my high school coach always said, Running is 90% mental and 10% physical. I'm with Bob - you just have to keep the faith! And hear us in your mind all cheering & shouting for you.

Go Dawn! It's just the summer blahs and there is tons of time to get ready for a stellar NYC. We're all rooting for you!

Hey, Dawn. I've been wondering where you were. Sorry to hear you're having a hard time. It will get better. Maybe you just need some rest.
