Where do I start, its awful but I really have nothing much to say. I am doing the best I can with the time I have. My runs are shorter and quicker, I've been averaging 9-9:45 pace the last two weeks which is something I have not done in ages and when I say ages in like about 2 years. For the past 2 years my training runs have averaged about 10:30 to 11:30 and this was killing me mentally it seemed I would never get out of the rut. Finally it looks like things are looking up.
I didn't get any long runs in this weekend. Saturday I got side tracked . Sunday finally, I got to run this race, the Beachfront Buschwhack a very challenging XC 5 miler so that got the blood flowing. "where did those damn stairs come from?" I've run this race before at least 4 times and for the life of me I can't remember the stairs. Mark my words, I'll remember them next year.
Wasn't too sure I was running Philly this year, then I got the final word that I could and wouldn't you know the race is full!!! I have only myself to blame for this one.
Monday I did 5 miles
Tuesday I did 6 miles
Have a great running week!! and may all your miles be merry

Glad to see that you improved your pace and ran a race. Good job:)
Excellent picking up of the pace!! I'm jealous.
It seems I remember a previous post where you had forgotten the course and thought it was harder. Maybe it is like labor, some of the pain lessons over time and you start to forget. :D Only thing is, you keep going back and running it again.
Sorry to hear about Philly, but that's great about your faster pace! You rock!
Well done for trying to get out of that rut. Good Luck, and stick with it.
On Nov 5 you posted that you had not been running so much...
And look at you now. Good job: Go runner, go!
