I've started training this week. Still not sure what plan to fallow!! Honestly I don't think plans are for me. This may be the problem. I am doing something and I know I need to incorporate a few things each week, such as speed work, hill work, tempo runs, strides, etc!! I think by Sunday I should know what plan to do. I will be doing at least 65 to 70 miles weeks and I will try like hell not to make them all at an easy comfort pace!!
Tuesday 7/3 9.02 miles 10:35 pace
Monday 7/2 7.50 miles 10:45 pace

Hey Super Mom, well I caught up a little on ur blog...u been busy as usual...glad Elliot liked his orientation, he will be fine once he gets there and starts to settle in...that whole change thing:-) He will miss his Momma though a lot, I did:-(
Have a happy 4th!!
Fairfield half is a great run, I liked it a lot! Now whatever plan you pick doesn't really matter, they all work just fine, so don't sweat on this (well, sweat doing it:)). 70 mpw is amazing, it'll bring you anywhere you want!
With 60 or 70 miles a week to work with, you should have no trouble encorporating the elements necessary to get you to move faster. Let us know what you decide.
wow - well, looks like you are going to be a busy bee! Go get 'em!
I enjoy the variety of hills, speed work, etc.
With that many miles, you're going to WANT to run faster just to get it over with.
I have a rough time with plans to, but I've learned the hard way that they get me the best performances.
Be well!
