First Snow Run

I was pretty excited to get out there today, don't ask me why. It felt good out there except for being way to cautious. The temperature was 27% with a little snow and rain. I think its kind of strange feeling that excited about running in the snow, I actually felt like a kid. I hope all my snow runs this winter will be as pleasant as this one but I know better. I am looking forward to the Boston Build up winter series starting in January with a 10k and ending in March with The 30K blow out. This will be my 4th year doing the series. Every year its a challenge and a great motivator to keep you going through the winter.

I am thinking seriously of doing the Lansik eye surgery. I like to see when I run so I wear my glasses. But on days like today I have no choice I can't where them. They get fogged up really fast and I have to take them off. I really would like my son to have one, his would be priority over mines and my husband. Now to put this plan into action.

Cheers to anyone feeling like a kid out there today :)

I wear my contacts to prevent fog in the winter. Trouble is I have to bring my reading glasses if I have to read anything after..lol.

As for running in the snow, yup, just like a kid all over again. Snow angels anyone???
