Today at about noon time, because that is how late I slept, I went out for a run. I had a glorious run. From the start I knew it would be. I practically ran out the door with a skip in my feet. I felt like I was in race mode and each time I look down at my watch I was at a 8:30 to an 8:50 pace, man did I feel good. Just to give you an idea of how good I felt, I've ran this same route 6.46 miles the last three days. The first day I completed it in 1:10, my next one was 1:08 but today I did it in 59:49 I haven't done this in ages on my training runs. Honestly not sure what to attribute it to. Maybe all the carbohydrates, pasta, rice I've been eating or may the fact that I finally got eight hours of sleep!! I'm just grateful for today, a new day for hope.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays.

Yeah, that was a glorious run. I'm glad you had a good one.
Hey Dawn, that was a great run! Good way to close out the year (almost).

I have been getting the 8 hours and my eating is the same as yours but not my runs! Glad you got a good one in.
Best wishes for all your new beginnings in the New Year!
I love the rare days we get like this, where we feel like we are floating. Wish I could bottle them. By the way, Happy New Year to you and yours.
