I've been eating uncontrollable the last too weeks. I think eating is taking place of my running, not a good exchange but I will survive this hideous period.
I ran most of the week except for Saturday and today all between 4 to 6 miles. God, when will I have my 8 to 10 back!!
Today was the first day I made any effort to do anything for Christmas. Yes I mailed the cards!! hubby been at since the day after thanksgiving is it true what they say opposite attracts.
I think I'm doing Christmas dinner so I better get moving.

Dawn --I agree ---a big difference between 4 and 10 milers in terms of calories we can eat!!!! However, for most normal people 4 to 6 miles in the darkest of winter is fine...but 8 is wha makes you feel good. You do so much --so enjoy a
break --hard to stay away from the food though. I got in the habit of eating only ice cream this week with the strep...not good:(

Dawn, you seem to run a lot, I don't think not doing 8 right now is so bad but do understand the feeling. It'll come back to you soon. In the meantime, enjoy Christmas and....the food
I've been doing all short runs as well with the exception of the marathons. Thank God I have plenty of long run opportunities in my neck of the woods. I hope you can get out for some longer runs, Dawn. I know how much better it feels when you do.
