Just looking at results from the Marine Corp Marathon, Playing around a little, just wanted to see if there were any female finisher 75 and older and guess what there was one Lauren Edwards, 80F just amazing, net time of 3:26. Now that's a dream to keep dreaming.

I went out for a quick one today. Just a little over 4 miles and I felt labored. I saw Christine out about midway into my run, I removed my ear plug to say hello. Beautiful morning and took it for what it was, I was overdressed, I'm glad I got out.

Have a wonderful day.

Pretty amazing for an 80 year old to be completing a marathon. I hope to be doing the same thing when I am 80. It was a beautiful cool crisp morning here as well. We have to enjoy the weather while it's good.

You're back! You got a few miles in, that's more than what I have done in 7 days, not that I'm counting or anything...

that's neat you saw Christine! I ran 4 miles too, yesterday... good distance, not too short not too long, hopefully it won't be as labored for you next time

Once your life finds balance again, the running will feel so much easier. Hopefully, the running will help you find that balance.
